Job Location: Washington, DC (100% Onsite - IN PERSON REQUIRED)

Job Description:

The DC Office of Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) is seeking a Sr. Salesforce Developer with expertise in designing, coding, testing, and implementing Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate should have experience developing customized solutions, integrating applications, and managing Salesforce environments to support critical business functions.

Specialty Areas:

  • Salesforce Development & Customization – Expertise in Apex, VisualForce, Lightning, and Salesforce security models.

  • System Integration & Automation – Experience integrating Salesforce with other platforms and automating CRM processes.

  • Project Execution & Technical Expertise – Strong ability to analyze project objectives, design solutions, and deliver high-quality applications.

  • Training & Stakeholder Communication – Ability to deliver Salesforce training, create training materials, and work with non-technical staff.

  • Salesforce Administration & Security – Management of security settings, workflow customization, and overall system administration.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to meet project and agency objectives.

  • Manage and maintain internal Salesforce environments, ensuring compatibility with evolving business needs.

  • Design, test, and deploy new software applications, ensuring proper documentation and training.

  • Act as the Salesforce Subject Matter Expert and provide guidance to both technical and non-technical staff.

  • Deliver Salesforce training, including developing training materials and presentations.

  • Integrate Salesforce applications with external platforms and ensure smooth system interactions.

  • Evaluate CRM and case management processes to identify potential Salesforce-enabled enhancements.

  • Oversee solutions design, system architecture, and delivery of integrated applications.

  • Identify opportunities for CRM and Einstein Analytics automation.

  • Provide system administration support, including security settings, user permissions, and custom workflows.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure Salesforce functionality aligns with business objectives.

  • Work closely with project managers and end-users to ensure smooth implementation and training.

Mandatory Requirements:
